Product Certification
TTS is proud to be an ISO 17025 certified facility. We conduct wood products testing required by CSA, ASTM and other national and international standards organizations including particleboard, MDF, OSB, Plywood, LVL and engineered wood lumber for physical and mechnical properties of small and full size samples. We also conduct thermal conductivity test for insulation materials according to ASTM C177.
The TTS lab also tests plywood operations certified by the Engineered Wood Association (APA) and conducts weekly plywood failure testing required by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA), ASTM and JAS, for most Western Canadian plywood operations certified by CAPLY of Canada. TTS also sits on the ASTM Committee for ASTM04.10, and works with the Canadian Construction Materials Centre (CCMC)
