For architects and interior designers seeking novel green building products that are truly sustainable, TTS has four families of products that are currently being commercialized – structural insulated panels (SIPs), engineered natural fibre mat products including natural fibre insulation, biofibre cement composites including biofibre cement blocks (BCB) and natural fibre-based biocomposite panels including Agri-forestry (A-FOR) panels for a range of applications including cabinets, countertops, door cores, underlayment, siding and shingles.
TTS is currently able to provide limited quantities of these four products for design purposes from pilot production lines at its Edmonton laboratory. The company is currently in the process completing a commercial engineered natural fibre mat facility at Dryton Valley, Alberta.
TTS is currently seeking to collaborate with architects, designers and builders to develop building and interior design plans utilizing any of TTS’ natural fibre-based green building products. A recent example of this type of collaboration is TTS’ net-zero energy model home, which was designed by Starblanket Homes and using TTS' R-ThermalTM SIPs.
