For architects and interior designers seeking novel green building products that are truly sustainable, TTS has three families of products that are currently being commercialized – natural fibre-reinforced structural insulated panels (SIPs), engineered natural fibre mat products including natural fibre insulation, and natural fibre-based biocomposite panels for a range of applications including cabinets, countertops, door cores, underlayment, siding and shingles.

TTS is currently able to provide limited quantities and samples of these three products for design purposes from production lines at its Edmonton laboratory. TTS is also in the process of commissioning a commercial-scale plant for our engineered natural fibre mat products in Drayton Valley, Alberta and another in Killarney, Manitoba to produce our natural fibre-based biocomposite panels called A-FOR Panels. Both of these plants are expected to begin producing commercial-scale quantities of product within a two-year timeframe.

TTS is actively seeking to collaborate with architects and designers to develop building and interior design plans utilizing any of TTS’ natural fibre-based green building products. A recent example of this type of collaboration is TTS’ model home, which was designed by Starblanket Homes.
